We always start with an initial phone call. Why?

This brief conversation gives us a chance to get to know your situation, and what you’re seeking help with. That way we can get a good idea of your goals and what program would be a good fit for you. It also allows you to ask pressing questions and get an idea of what training could look like moving forward. We do not provide training during this phone call, unless there is an imminent safety risk (in which case we will give advice for immediate management strategies until further training).

The point of this phone call is the learn about you and your dog!

Next Step: The Initial Consultation

Once we’ve decided you’re a good fit for our training program, the next step is an initial consultation. Here we dig a little deeper into the problems you’re experiencing, and get a clear picture of what your goals are. This gives us the information we need to design a custom training plan for you, as well as decide the training package that fits best with your needs. We will provide first resources and education as well. Some training may take place during this consultation, but the main goal is to identify the first steps needed to reach your behavior goals!

PLEASE NOTE: Initial Consultations are not always required for puppies under 16 weeks of age. This will be discussed during your free phone call, if applicable.

Reactivity Assistance

When you walk your dog, is it a serene experience or are you plagued by worry about how your dog will react to seeing other dogs and/or people? If you answered the latter, this program is for you. I’ve been there- before I was a professional trainer I struggled with my own dogs’ reactivity- I know firsthand how hard it can be! Now I have the tools and knowledge to help others. I can give you the tools and training you and your dog need to have fun and peaceful outings together.

High-Energy Dog Help

Is your dog bouncing off the walls? Are you unsure of how to meet your dog’s needs? Do you need help channeling your dog's energy into appropriate outlets, and teaching them how to settle when needed? This program is a great fit for you if you answered yes to any of these questions! Living with multiple high energy breeds myself, I know that it can be hard sometimes- and I’m here to assist you. You will learn how to give your dog outlets for their energy, and we will teach your dog how to relax once their needs are met.

Bright-Eyed Basics

Have a new dog, and you don’t know where to start with training them? Or maybe you’ve had your dog for a while and think it’s time to begin working on their skills. This is a great place to start! In Bright-Eyed Basics we will go over some foundational behaviors and skills that will help your companion thrive (and give you some peace of mind!).

Puppy Start Right

Did you just get a puppy, and you want help making sure they are on the right track to becoming a well-adjusted adult dog? In Puppy Start Right we will guide you on ways to properly socialize your puppy, and teach you and your dog skills that they will benefit from for a lifetime.

Tricks and Fun

This package is all about having fun with your dog, and your dog gaining some valuable (and adorable) skills along the way! You will get to pick your customized list of tricks, and we will coach you on how to teach them!
