Private Lessons in NoCo and Beyond
We offer individualized training packages that are designed to help you reach your goals with your canine companion. Each training package is tailored to set you and your dog up for success.
Virtual lessons can be done for anyone residing in the United States. In-person lessons are for the Northern Colorado area only (Greeley, Loveland, Windsor, Fort Collins, and surrounding areas). Please contact us if you are unsure if you are in our service area.
Flexible format: we offer remote online sessions, from the comfort of your home! We also offer in-person sessions for Northern Colorado.
Consistency: Weekly or Bi-weekly 1-hour sessions with your trainer
Support: Receive email support in between sessions from your credentialed trainer
We understand what it’s like living with reactive dogs, active dogs, or raising a puppy! Our goal is to help guide you on your journey, and set you and your dog up for success!
How to Get Started
FIRST STEP: FREE 15-Minute Intro Call
We always start with an initial phone call. Why?
This brief conversation gives us a chance to get to know your situation, and what you’re seeking help with. That way we can get a good idea of your goals and what program would be a good fit for you. It also allows you to ask pressing questions and get an idea of what training could look like moving forward. We do not provide training during this phone call, unless there is an imminent safety risk (in which case we will give advice for immediate management strategies until further training).
The point of this phone call is the learn about you and your dog!
NEXT: Schedule your Initial Consultation ($75)
Once we’ve decided you’re a good fit for our training program, the next step is an initial consultation. Here we dig a little deeper into the problems you’re experiencing, and get a clear picture of what your goals are. This gives us the information we need to design a custom training plan for you, as well as decide the training package that fits best with your needs. We will provide first resources and education as well. Some training may take place during this consultation, but the main goal is to identify the first steps needed to reach your behavior goals!
Dive in to a Training Package (see below)
This is where most of the actual hands-on training and education happens!
You will work one-on-one with a certified behavior consultant. Sessions will include demonstrations, answering questions, giving feedback on hands-on training with your dog, and more.
Email and text support between sessions is included with all of our packages.
Package Options
Overcoming Reactivity- 6 Sessions
As our specialty and our most popular package, Overcoming Reactivity is designed to help you manage, work with, and live with your dog with big feelings. We will work through a training plan designed to help you reach your goals with your dog. You will see a difference in your dog’s behavior!
Bright-Eyed Basics- 4 Sessions
This package is designed for dogs who need some help with basic manners or learning foundational training skills. Problems such as loose leash walking, begging at the table, and demand barking will be addressed through this package.
Puppy Support- 4 Sessions
The Puppy Support Package is for puppies under a year old. We help with socialization questions and problems, and offer support and guidance to your as the owner (we know puppyhood can be rough!). Our goal is to set your puppy up for success and build a solid foundation of training, all well helping you troubleshoot any hiccups you experience along the way.
Wallflower Program- 4 Sessions
For dogs that need extra encouragement and support to come out of their shell and learn that the world can be fun and not scary. This program is tailored to fearful, shy, timid, or withdrawn dogs of any age.
Shoot for the Stars!- 2 Sessions
This package is for dogs who already have a good chunk of training under their belt and just want some help advancing their skills! Can be used to work on trick training, advanced distraction training, and more- all with the help of a certified trainer.
